Second (And Final) Ecotourism Follow Up Event on Saturday, July 19th at Guadalupe City Hall Gym from 1pm - 4pm
Like the event we held on June 7th, we are having a 2nd and final event to get community feedback on the Hostel/Ecotourism feasibility study. It happens on Saturday July 19th at the Guadalupe City Hall Gym from 1pm – 4pm. As before, visitors will walk through informative details about Guadalupe, it’s current status, regarding tourism and it’s relationship to economics development and be encouraged to provide feedback – Positive OR Negative.
Based on responses from the initial surveys, there were many in favor and against increasing tourism in Guadalupe and/or growing the city though the hospitality industry.
The surveys did not provide an adequate space for longer explanations and this event was created to provide a forum for those that feel strongly for or against ecotourism and/or the hospitality industry to have their voices heard.
We will be providing Spanish translation assistance at the event.
Free refreshments will be provided.
This is a self-paced event and participants are not required to stay all 3 hours. If you finish in 10 minutes, that’s fine with us! We just want to make sure you have an opportunity to be heard. We encourage you to take a few minutes out of your day and voice your opinion on an important aspect of Guadalupe’s future.
This event is a part of the Preliminary Ecotourism and Hotel/Motel/Hostel Study through the Guadalupe-Lompoc Initiative.

Your participation is greatly appreciated. Please provide your feedback by 12/31/24.
Please note that this survey is an opportunity to get an idea – directly from the community – what they would like to see in Guadalupe. Survey results do not guarantee the implementation of any project; however, this data can help the City and potential developers with the decision making process.
To all survey respondents – THANK YOU. Your participation is greatly appreciated.
