The Guadalupe’s Future website has been created to highlight initiatives and projects that affect the future of Guadalupe.
Updates on these projects will be provided here as well as related resources and new projects as they become available. The first three projects have been made possible through a grant to the Guadalupe-Lompoc Initiative.

Finally, climate change community workshops will be delivered at least once per year in Guadalupe.
About the Guadalupe-Lompoc Climate Action Initiative (GLI)
The Guadalupe-Lompoc Climate Action Initiative (GLI) is a multi-year collaborative effort that supports community-serving organizations and local governments across Santa Barbara County and the Central Coast region with capacity building, planning, project development, and community engagement so they can address air quality, extreme heat, water supply, food security, and wildfire risk.
GLI brings catalytic funding and resources to enhance community and collaborative capacity across the Central Coast region, helping local groups respond, repair, and adapt to climate-related threats. Through the GLI, local governments and organizations will lead various projects and planning efforts offering many opportunities for community involvement.
The Guadalupe-Lompoc Initiative is a project of the Santa Barbara County Regional Climate Collaborative, and is administered by the Community Environmental Council.
